There’s isn’t a better way to spend Armed Forces Day than with two marines on their wedding day. Tamara and Robert chose Armed Forces Day for their wedding because the military has been so important in their lives as well as their friends and family. Lindsey and I were honored to be part of such a special occasion. We started at Tamara’s lakeside childhood home for getting ready shots with the girls. I love it when brides get ready in their childhood bedroom. It’s just too cute. After pictures by the lake, we headed to the church for the ceremony then back to the lake for some bridal party shots. Despite the few rain drops, we captured some great images, including a creek shot with Tamara and Robert where Tamara VOLUNTEERED to stand on a rock in the middle of! I love it! She said, I’ll go. I’m only going to where this dress once.
After we wrapped up at the lake, we headed to the reception at the Lantern Lodge.
Enough talking. Here’s the good stuff…
The girls had great purses for their bouquets.

Tamara requested this shot. With those eyes, I was NOT going to argue! ![]()

I love it when we have no rules in a church. We never over step our bounds but it does allow us to sneak a lot closer and get shots like this. I love the light in this one.

Another capture by Lindsey. ( Maybe she should be sick more often.
)

I wanted to take this little girl home with me. She was SO CUTE.

Thanks Tamara and Robert for having us. Enjoy your cruise. I’m very jealous!
