Avery – 1st Bday Party

Little Miss Avery turned one recently and I was honored to capture her birthday celebration. Her mom did such a good job with the Dr. Seuss theme! Stay tuned for more pictures of Avery as we wrap up her Baby’s First Year Package.

PS – Sorry to Avery for confusing her as Emily. That’s what happens when your sister came first. :)

Gabe – 1 year

Nothing makes me happier than when my former bridal clients come back to have me do a session with their kids. I captured Michelle and Michael’s big day back in 2007. I was thrilled when Michelle contacted me to do a session with their one year old son, Gabe. Gabe is one of THE most expressive one year olds that I’ve ever photographed. Sam & Silas – 1 Year Cake Smash

Before I get to this fabulous post, I need to take care of a few housekeeping items:

1. Next week is WEDDING WEEK on the blog. We’ve got some great things coming at you including updated pricing. Stay tuned for details!

2. The session you are about to see is done with our newest add-on to your studio experience at Klose Photography: a custom balloon backdrop. This was our first time doing it and we LOVED how it turned out.

3. You might remember Sam & Silas’ birthday party post back in January. Since they were preemies and we didn’t actual do their first session until they were already one month old, their mom requested that we do this “adjusted” one year session. Hey. I’m all for anything that prolongs my time with these two. ;)

And now, the twins’. I cannot believe that with this session, we are done with their first year. They have grown so much, both in size and personality. I love them both so much and they will always be “the boys” to me. And no, even after a year, I still can’t tell them apart!! :)

Lydia, Leah and Lucy

Nothing warms my heart like a sibling session. And when it’s all girls, well that’s even better! I haven’t seen Lydia and Leah in a couple of years and this was my first time meeting little Miss Lucy. Oh my. The cuteness bar has been raised! First we did some in their PSU gear. Then we did some in their Easter dresses. I ended up spending time with Lucy wrapped in something her Nanny made her.
