Claira – 1 month

We switched Claira’s one month session so we could be there to celebrate her sister Ella’s birthday party and do some extended family photos. She’s grown so much since I saw her last.

Such a lovely family.

Big sister with little sister. ;)

And we had to do a birthday portrait of Ella. Even though she jumped in the pool before we did it. :)

Cyndi, I’m starting to think you are not a photographer. You are a MAGICIAN! These shots look great; you’re awesome!

Avery – Newborn

You know the song “I’ve got sunshine on a rainy day…”? Well that’s what I should have been singing the other morning when I went to finally meet Miss Avery. It was POURING outside but inside it was like a ray of sunshine. Between spending time with Avery, Kade AND Emily, I was in heaven. And get used to this little cutie as you will be seeing her every month! :)

What a beautiful angel!!! As always, amazing work Cyndi :)

Jack – 9 months

One of the favorite things I do with our monthly Baby’s First Year clients is to spend a NIght in the Life with them. I come at dinner time and stay through bath until bed. I always have a great time just capturing their every day night as is happens while talking to the parents. And I couldn’t think of a better way to spend last Friday evening then doing this with Jack.

Before dinner, Jack wanted to play a little ball.

Puffs as appetizer. Yum!

Jack’s Mom rocks. She makes all Jack’s baby food. Tonight he was dining on cereal, peas and carrots.

“I wonder what this thing does.” :)

Some down time in the crib while his bath was being drawn.

This picture just happened by chance but it makes me laugh every time I see it.

All clean and ready for bed.

It’s hard to believe this is the same kid:

It goes by way too fast.

Emily – 4 months

I recently traveled north to visit my little dance Emily again. She has grown so much since the last time I saw her. And while she wasn’t in the best mood, I still had fun with her. After all, a day can never be bad when you get to hold a baby. ;)

Some Daddy time.

Mommy was so proud when Emily did first position for me. :)

Emily is quite the accomplished little thumb sucker.

Yep. This was the ONE smile that I got.

Finally, some Mommy time.

Cyndi – You’ve captured Emily exactly how we see her everyday…the happy times and the “not so happy” times. ;-) THANK YOU! My favorite picture is the one of her smiling by the window. It’s almost as if she was laughing. Thanks again. We look forward to seeing you again a few months.

Sam and Silas – 2 months

This is going to be such a fantastic year following these two. So many of you have already told us that you are following them closely. I think that’s awesome!!

So it was month #2 for Sam and Silas. And they apparently switched roles in a month. This time, Silas was the one who was awake most of the time while Sam slept.

Silas on the left. Sam on the right.

These two were troopers through all of the outfits.

We could have renamed this session “The Soothie Session”. They both seemed to rely on it more this month. This is Sam.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!!!

Sam first…

…then Silas.

I’m so excited to share these next images with you. I actually made these hats and snuggy! More details on that later.

Sam first…

…then Silas.

Then my two little peas in a pod. :)

Can’t wait until next month!!!

Jack – 8 months

Remember that day last week when it was soooo warm? Well, Jack and I took advantage of that weather for some outdoor shots during his monthly session. We started at his house then went to a nearby park. And guess what? Miracle of all miracles happened. Jack smiled AND I actually heard him laugh!!!!!!! Never before has this happened. I was beginning to think he hated my big, black camera. :)

Getting in the mood a little early for St. Patty’s Day.

I’m a sucker for bib overalls.

Jack and his mama.

Oh. How. Adorable.

Flying high.
