Ashley and Nathan – 05.29.10

Last Saturday, we captured the beautiful wedding of Ashley and Nathan. We started our coverage at the salon with the girls, headed to the B&B where they got ready, and then everyone met up again at the church in Carlisle. Ashley is a hoot and had me laughing so much the entire day! After the ceremony, we headed back to the B&B for portraits and the reception. The reception was so laid back. All of the guests seemed to be having a great time milling about the property. What a beautiful day for a party!!!

This moment between the ring bearer and flower girl was hilarious!!

A true cake smashing is never complete without cake up the nose. ;)

Dad was making sure there was no hanky-panky going on.

We’ve been seeing a lot of our past wedding clients lately. It was great to see Laura and Tyler again!!

Ashley and Barry – 05.22.10

Last weekend, we traveled to the outskirts of Philly for the wedding of Ashley and Barry. We started our day getting ready with the guys and girls before heading to the church. We had a little rain shower on the way to the church but we were all praying that it would stop. It did…but only until during the receiving line and then the heavens let loose. THANKFULLY it was clearing by the time we headed outside for pictures around the church. By the time we got to Waynesborough Country Club, there was blue sky! Ashley and Barry were amazing through the whole day.

Thank you guys for being such gracious hosts and for giving Claudine her first time driving a golf cart. ;)

There was a little family emergency before the wedding but all ended well.

The church was lovely.

When I had done the walk through with Ashley and Barry, I had spotted this SEPTA train station behind the church and knew that we HAD to do stuff there.

Then it was off to the CC for more fun!

We LOVE seeing past wedding clients. Remember the wedding of Lindsay and Geoff??

Alie and Andy – 05.09.10

The Pheasant Run Farm set the scene for the fun and laid back wedding of Alie and Andy. Alie was her usual gorgeous, silly self in her beautiful gown and cowboy boots! After a few hours inside getting ready, the girls had to slowly ease out into the sunny but chilly day for the outside ceremony. A horse pasture presented as gorgeous backdrop for their vows as well as a cross made out of horseshoes. Everyone was captivated by the ceremony and even Dreamer, the horse, had to come and take a nibble at the decorations. We had so much fun with the bridal party, walking around getting all kinds of crazy shots. From the jam jars of lemonade to the cowboy hats and lawn games, the reception captured the fun loving outdoor nature of these two. Have a wonderful time in St. Lucia and thanks for allowing us to be a part of your day!

Rayni and Matt – 05.08.10

When I met up with Rayni and Matt for their engagement session, I knew that we would be in for a good time at their wedding. And Andy and I were NOT disappointed. I headed to the Hilton in Harrisburg where the girls were getting ready while Andy headed to Matt and Rayni’s house to meet the guys. While Gia and Jess were working their magic on the girls, the guys made a stop at Ft. Indiantown Gap Cemetary so Matt could leave flowers at his father’s grave. We all met back up at the ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral which was beautiful. And you might remember that Saturday was WINDY!!! Well Rayni and Matt were up for ANYTHING. We literally ended up in a wind tunnel in one of the alleys off State Street and I thought that Rayni was going to be knocked over. After we were done with portraits, we headed into the Hilton for the reception.

These images that Andy captured at the cemetary with Matt move me beyond words.

This was right after I told Rayni that she looked like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. :)

Some detail shots:

Told ya it was WINDY!!

LOVE this one!

This was such a special moment. Rayni’s father had passed away so instead of a father-daughter dance, she invited everyone on the dance floor to celebrate her dad’s memory. They danced to the song “Desperado” by The Eagles. I had to track down a tissue.

Kaitlin and Tom – 05.08.10

This past Saturday, Allison and I had the pleasure of capturing Kaitlin and Tom’s wedding. While the rain held out, the winds made it a very blustery day! Kaitlin and her bridesmaids prepared at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the guys got ready at the best man’s house. Thankfully with enough hairspray and pins, everyone’s hair stayed in place en route to Pine St. Presbyterian Church. The ceremony was unique it that after pronouncing Kaitlin and Tom man and wife, a bagpiper lead them in the processional! Then it was on to The Peter Allen House for pictures on their beautiful grounds. Guests enjoyed a mashed potato bar among other culinary delights from Commonwealth Caterers and everyone danced the night away to keep themselves warm.

Jill and AJ – 05.01.10

Saturday was our first wedding at the brand new Cork Factory Hotel and what an amazing venue it is! And Jill and AJ were lucky enough to be spending their ceremony AND reception there. We arrived at the hotel and hung out with the girls and the guys while they got ready. We tried to use as much of the hotel as we could for pictures throughout the day. The main ballroom was set up for the ceremony and looked beautiful. After the ceremony was over, we stepped outside into the warm May sun for family formals while the staff transformed the ballroom into the setup for the reception. We had fun exploring with Jill and AJ. And we are still talking about AJ’s one liners. ;)

The stairwells at the Cork Factory were awesome!
