Sarah and Jeff – 06.05.10
June 9, 2010 – 9:22 pm
It seems like forever ago that I had seen Sarah and Jeff. In fact, it was last August that we did their engagement session. So it was really nice to see them again on their big day. Sarah is probably one of the most expressive brides that I’ve ever had!! And exuberant too!! Not even the impending rain could get her down. Luckily the rain held off for a majority of the ceremony. Portrait time was a different story but at least we were at a picturesque spot like the Hotel Hershey where we could do some things inside. I loved all of the details of the day, especially the peony bouquet and the groom’s cake. See for yourself:
The bible that Sarah’s grandmother and mother carried during their weddings. And also the rings and the little plate that the ring bearer carried.

Dodging rose petals and rain drops.

LOVE this shot of the bridal party.

This is the “fun” shot that the bridal party wanted. At least they got into it!!

HOW COOL IS THIS GROOM’S CAKE??!!??

Before the reception got too rocking, we went to visit Sarah’s grandfather in his room. He had just been released from the hospital days before so it was really important for Sarah that she saw him. It was an amazing moment that I was honored to capture.

The “special guest” arrived just before we had to leave.

Nicole and Eric – Esession
June 3, 2010 – 8:06 pm
I’m always amazed at how people come to be part of the Klose Photography family. Eric and Nicole are no exception. Eric heard of us from his sister who is the sister-in-law of a very good friend of mine. But all of that aside, I couldn’t imagine NOT shooting their wedding. These two are so much fun to be around. I had a blast with them during our recent trip to the Hotel Hershey for their engagement session. Since I had just done an engagement session at the hotel, we strayed a bit from the grounds and I’m so glad we did.

We found these awesome hats outside the swimsuit boutique at the Hotel. I LOVE this shot of Nicole. She’s so much fun!!!

And because their wedding has some French influence, Nicole brought along a prop for the ring shot. ![]()

Lauren and Brian – Esession
May 21, 2010 – 7:30 am
After the bad thunderstorms the other night, I met up with Lauren and Brian at the Hotel Hershey for their engagement session. We walked all around the inside with one outfit and then changed to go outside for another round of pictures. It took Brian a little to warm up but I think he’ll be ready for their wedding in June. ![]()

Johni and Steve – Esession
May 26, 2009 – 8:00 pm
We’re a little behind on blogging. OK. Maybe a LOT behind on blogging for us. So stay tuned for lots of posts coming at you this week. First of is the engagement session of Johni and Steve. I met this two recently at the Hotel Hershey for their session. We worked some inside then went outside where the sky was just AMAZING! I’m looking forward to their quickly approaching wedding.
I loved Johni’s shoes. She told me that if I loved these, then I’ll love her wedding shoes. I can’t wait!

The sky was just so cool that day.

Lauren and Matt – Esession
December 19, 2008 – 1:09 pm
This past weekend, I met up with Lauren and Matt at Candy Lane in Hershey for their engagement session. We were trying to get it in before their wedding which is in just 2 weeks.

Candy Lane was crowded so we headed over to the Hotel.

Matt wanted a shot of the two of them praying together. It ended up being one of my favs.
