Sarah and Phil – 07.16.11

It was so nice to return to The Peter Allen House without any rain! It was a beautiful day for Sarah and Phil’s outdoor wedding. These two are so in love with each other! And they were so blessed to spend their day surrounded by friends and family who love them so much.

Hayley and Greg – 05.29.11

Our second wedding of the Memorial Day weekend was the awesome wedding of Hayley and Greg. I started my day by hanging out with the girls at Hayley and Greg’s house while they got ready. Then we headed to the church for the Serbian service which was intricate and beautiful. After formal and fun portraits, it was off to the Radisson for the rockin’ reception.

A special pic with a special pup. ;)

Hayley’s bouquet was simple yet beautiful.

Greg didn’t look too bad himself. ;)

What a better way to pass the time than iPhone Air Hockey!

I love this shot of some of the guests during the service.

Hayley and Greg had shots for their guests of what can only be described as fire water.

Guests threw eco-friendly rice and coins at the couple when they exited the church.

Some of the details from the day:

A Serbian orchestra entertained the guests all throughout the day.

Jessica and Brian – 10.09.10

Is October over yet? ;) We had another double-header this past weekend, starting with the Saturday wedding of Jessica and Brian. We started our day with the girls getting ready and then headed to the Capitol for the ceremony. We did portraits inside and outside of the Capitol before heading across the river for the reception at the Radisson. What a fun night!

Did I mention I love getting ready time? ;)

Please Mr. Security Guard, let us in.

I’ve been enjoying my black and whites lately.

The boys.

PORTRAIT TIME!!!

The rings.

And some more details.

Warming up the crowd. Apparently this lovely lady was the sexiest at her table. :)

Look! The “coolest” couple ever was there. So good to see Stephany and Dan again.

The cake cutting.

And then the dancing began. And boy did it ever.

The boys ended the night with some cigars on the patio.

Melany and Dan – 08.28.10

This past Saturday, we covered the wedding of Melany and Dan. These two are so cute together. They really don’t take a bad picture together! We started at the church for getting ready. After the ceremony and portraits at the church, we went exploring for some shots with the bridal party. We ended up at Ski Roundtop to finish up before the party began. And, oh my, what a party it was. I don’t think Melany left the dance floor the entire night!

Boys will be boys.

I love when getting ready is in a church nursery. ;)

Melany looked lovely.

Waiting their turn.

I loved this moment between Dan and his grandmother.

Kaitlin and Tom – 05.08.10

This past Saturday, Allison and I had the pleasure of capturing Kaitlin and Tom’s wedding. While the rain held out, the winds made it a very blustery day! Kaitlin and her bridesmaids prepared at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and the guys got ready at the best man’s house. Thankfully with enough hairspray and pins, everyone’s hair stayed in place en route to Pine St. Presbyterian Church. The ceremony was unique it that after pronouncing Kaitlin and Tom man and wife, a bagpiper lead them in the processional! Then it was on to The Peter Allen House for pictures on their beautiful grounds. Guests enjoyed a mashed potato bar among other culinary delights from Commonwealth Caterers and everyone danced the night away to keep themselves warm.
