Ashley and Nathan – 05.29.10

Last Saturday, we captured the beautiful wedding of Ashley and Nathan. We started our coverage at the salon with the girls, headed to the B&B where they got ready, and then everyone met up again at the church in Carlisle. Ashley is a hoot and had me laughing so much the entire day! After the ceremony, we headed back to the B&B for portraits and the reception. The reception was so laid back. All of the guests seemed to be having a great time milling about the property. What a beautiful day for a party!!!

This moment between the ring bearer and flower girl was hilarious!!

A true cake smashing is never complete without cake up the nose. ;)

Dad was making sure there was no hanky-panky going on.

We’ve been seeing a lot of our past wedding clients lately. It was great to see Laura and Tyler again!!

Erika and Greg – 08.29.09

Rain, rain stay away! That’s what I was saying last Saturday morning before Erika and Greg’s wedding. I had spent the evening in the rain getting to their rehearsal dinner at Level 2 downtown and was hoping we would have better luck on Saturday. The forecast, however, was not promising but we had hope. So I traveled down to Chocolatetown to start our coverage at the Hotel Hershey with Erika and her ladies. The suite was cozy with all of us in there but with a Chic-fil-a delivery and some champagne, things went quite well. Erika and Greg planned their “First Glance” on the back stairs in the formal gardens of the Hotel. Erika was SO excited to see Greg. We walked around a bit then it started to rain so we headed inside to start on the group portraits. The rain continued for a bit and unfortunately, Erika and Greg had to make the call to move the ceremony from the Hershey Gardens to the Hershey Country Club, where their reception was going to be held. And even though we had a period of blue skies, it was a good call because it was absolutely pouring during the start of their reception. The party went on, with all of Erika and Greg’s friends and family sharing many stories and hugs. And the dancing! And the food! Oh my, I could go on forever. But for now enjoy my favorites. I love this portrait of Erika.

Lisa and Jason – 04.18.09

Last Saturday was an absolutely gorgeous day for a wedding in Central PA. Especially an outdoor one. ;) Lindsey, Maureen and I traveled to the Links of Gettysburg to capture the ceremony and reception for Lisa and Jason. (You may remember them from their recent engagement session.) To say we had a good time was putting it mildly. From the blue skies to the golf carts to the packed dance floor, this party was a great one! We started off hanging with both the guys and the girls for some getting ready shots. I’m happy to report that I survived an attack by a rampaging paper towel dispenser. ;) The ceremony was held on the terrace overlooking the golf course which is just beautiful. Since Lisa and Jason had decided to see each other prior to the ceremony, we moved through the day quite quickly and before we knew it, it was PARTY time. The reception even had a hot fudge sundae bar which was awesome!

As usual, below are a few favorites. The rest are HERE in the slideshow.

This is probably one of my favorite dress shots ever. The backlighting from the blinds was awesome.
