We are so happy to have Claudine of Claudine Jackson Photography helping us out with some weddings this year. She recently met up with Allie and Andy for their engagement session in Lancaster. I love Karen and Brian. No seriously. Ever since our engagement session, I’ve been looking forward to their wedding. Karen has been doing most of the planning from a distance so we’ve chatted several times on the phone throughout the past couple of months. She is one of the most genuine people that I’ve ever met. So I knew we were going to have a good day. We started our coverage with getting ready for both the guys and the girls. I knew from Karen’s description of her dress that I would love it and I did. It had POCKETS!!!! How cool is that??!! Karen and Brian had decided to see each other before the ceremony. So we orchestrated their First Glance at Harrisburg Country Club, where both their ceremony and reception were to take place. Then it was off to State Street with the bridal party to do some creative stuff before the ceremony. Then back to the Country Club for the ceremony which was beautiful. What a perfect day for cocktail hour outside on the patio too. I think the guests were a little reluctant to move indoors for the reception. But the dance floor was packed the whole night! And nothing could be more fitting to the end of a July wedding than to have a sparkler send off.

I loved this moment during the ceremony. Karen’s mom started crying as her daughter walked down the aisle. Karen’s grandmother leaned over and put her arm around her.
