Oh my. Little Miss Emma stole my heart during our session. This was the first time I actually got to meet her after almost two years of watching her grow on Facebook. She is just a bright ray of sunshine and I loved every minute that I spent with her and her parents.

What cuties these two are!!! We attempted to go outside for some pics but it was just a little too cold and windy for us. So we did the bulk of their session inside using almost all natural light.

You might remember seeing Claire as a flower girl in this wedding and this wedding, but now it was time for her to shine on her own. I met up with Claire and her Mom to capture the last of the fall color. I think it’s safe to say that we all had fun!!
It’s been TOO long since I’ve had the privilege of doing a session for Kade and Emily’s family. I couldn’t believe how big he had gotten when I arrived. And little Miss Emily…oh my. She is SUCH a cutie. Mom and Dad had requested that we do the session at their home for a couple of reasons. One of which is that they have this creek that runs behind their house. But I’ll get there. First things first. We did the family portraits first, then switched outfits for the kids. After we had done all of that, we let the kids get in the creek. Apparently this was the first time they had been allowed in there so it was such a joy for me to capture it. Of course, I got in too and let me tell you. It was COLD! But they had such a blast throwing rocks and looking for “fishies”.
I’m warning you now. I had a VERY hard time choosing images for the blog so there are A LOT!!
