We started off 2011 with the long-awaited wedding of Sara and Andy. And we were so excited because there was a fresh coating of snow on the ground and flurries throughout the day. Nothing too bad. Just enough to make it pretty. Winter weddings are so much fun for us because they always pose their own unique challenges. Whether it be the sun setting early or the weather, we always seem to have something to overcome. With Sara and Andy’s wedding, we were again doing portraits after dark and OUTSIDE. And it was COLD!!! But they were troopers and we got some of the most amazing images.
We did the normal hanging out with the guys and girls while they were getting ready and waiting for the ceremony to begin.
Sara looking absolutely stunning.

Andy didn’t look too bad himself.![]()

Favorite #1 of the day. This one I even shared with everyone right after I took it. And I NEVER do that.![]()

My take on American Gothic.

Favorite #2. This one, may be in my top three of all time favs.

The details of the day.

I couldn’t choose between ring shots so you get both.

Oh the cake smashing. To say that Andy surprised Sara would be an understatement.![]()
