Gabrielle and Scott – 09.24.11

This past Saturday, we returned to the Casa di Fiori at Leola Village for the wedding of Gabrielle and Scott. (You might remember their fantastic Philly esession from the spring.) And they were just as fun to hang out with on their wedding day as they were during their engagement session. Gabrielle designed an amazing ceremony site, complete with lots of candles and flowers. After their ceremony, we explored the village a bit before heading back into the Casa for the reception. The whole day was capped off by a sparkler exit. What fun!!

Ashley and Ryan – 09.10.11

Well here it is. THE MOST REQUESTED DATE OF 2011! And Ashley and Ryan were smart and snatched it up a long time ago. ;) And we were so excited to spend the day with them. We met up with everyone at the church while they were getting ready. The day moved along smoothly from there. And by the time we got to Liberty Forge, these guys were ready to P-A-R-T-Y.

Ashley’s shoes deserved an image all by themselves.

We had to make a quick stop to visit a really special puppy.

The reception looked amazing!

Heather and Matthew – 09.04.11

Wedding #2 of Labor Day weekend was the wedding of Heather and Matthew. It was a whirlwind day but a fun one!

The crazy part about the following images is that this spot was completely under water just days after we did these pics. The water was up to the roof of the building!!!

Alex and Brian – 08.27.11

We apologize for not getting these blogs up sooner. Here’s to hoping there’s no more natural disasters to deal with.

It was Hurricane Irene that came as an uninvited guest to Alex and Brian’s wedding. What was to be a beautiful outdoor ceremony looking over the Columbia in Wrightsville, turned into a ceremony under a tent hunkered down against a driving rain storm. But, we made the most of it, even managing to do all of the family pics outside. (These parents were troopers!!)

All of the details of this wedding were amazing and most were done by Alex herself.

Ceremony and Reception: Lauxmont Farms – Rotunda
Caterer and Cake: Accomac Inn
Flowers: The Garden Path

Nicole and Daniel – 08.20.11

Two weeks ago, we were back at one of our favorite spots, Riverdale Manor, for the wedding of Nicole and Daniel. The weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony held creekside. But first and foremost, I have to tell you about Pictionary Man. :) The girls were so efficient in getting ready that we were able to do all the things we needed to do before the ceremony with plenty of time to spare. So the maid of honor decided to bring Pictionary Man out of the trunk of her car. It was awesome! More on that and other details in a bit.

There is nothing that I love more than when every component of a bride’s ensembles fits both her and the style of the wedding PERFECTLY. That was Niki.

And if you know me at all, you know my fascination with birdcage veils. Bear with me as I obsess about them a little…

Pictionary Man!!!!

Dan’s note to Niki.

This was Dan’s first glance at Niki coming down the aisle. His face says it all.

He couldn’t take his eyes off her.

A good looking bunch.

See? I told you I have a problem. Look how the light catches it. Beautiful!

The details of the day.
