Meet Josie!!!!!!!

Josie was my mom’s surprise birthday present. Well actually she’s a “family” dog because we all wanted one. Josie is an 8 week corgi/cattle dog mix that we adopted from Molly’s Place in Mechanicsburg. She has THE MOST AWESOME personality and we are so blessed that she has joined our crazy family. Here are just a couple of images from her first day with us. I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of her. ;)

I was so upset that I couldn’t make Deb’s B-day Party!! I told her I’d take her lunch when she can pry herself away from her desk here at the office….

I love the pictures of Josie!! She looks like she will be a really sweet dog, and I know Megan and Molly will enjoy helping to take care of her!

I’ll keep your website, so let me know when you have more photos of Josie for me to view!!

thanks, Cindi!

Shoot for Yourself Day #1 – Lindsey

Lindsey and I recently took the day off to shoot for ourselves. Since the office is closed this week, I thought that I would share some of our images with you.

Here are 3 of Lindsey’s favorites from her travels around Philly.

Hi Cyndi,

I hope you had a nice vacation. I just sent you a request for information and forgot to add that I think your work is incredible. Even if you can’t send me any pictures from the Nikki and Joe Ernst wedding I just wanted to say that you have a fantastice eye and ability to capture great moments that are REAL and natural. I love how your website is set up and enjoyed and shed some tears when looking through your gallery. Sorry I forgot to include this in my original request.

Just for me.

I didn’t have a lot of time at MARS to shoot for myself but when I did, I got some great stuff.

I ran into a woman, Barb, when we were out walking around one day. Her hands were amazing so I asked her if I could photograph them.

I loved this “Bed and Breakfast” sign.

The beach at sunset.

My friend Katie during our sunset shoot.

I’ll share some more images next week.

I went to MARS!!

So last week, I literally went to MARS. OK. MARS in this case is actually the Mid-Atlantic Regional School for Professional Photography held in beautiful Cape May, one of my favorite places on earth. I chose to attend the weeklong conference for 2 reasons: 1. It was in Cape May :) and 2. I wanted to immerse myself in shooting just for me for one entire week and not worry about the business of the business. My week was to be spent in the class room of Carl Caylor who would be teaching us about using natural light to it’s greatest potential. It was an intense and amazing week and it felt SO GOOD to not touch my flash for 7 days! One of the coolest thing about the school is that they provided us with models and we literally had the opportunity to shoot every day. Below are some of the images that I created during the week with the models.

I also wanted to say what an amazing group were in my class. There were only about 16 of us and we became so close in such a short amount of time. And I special shout out to Kim, Katie, Carrie, Gina and Andrea who made the week so much fun!
