What’s your cause?

Most people have a cause that is near and dear to their hearts. For my family, it’s diabetes. It’s something that has affected our family in so many ways. And what have we chosen to do about it….RAISE MONEY towards the research to cure diabetes.

My husband Andy is training to ride in the Tour de Cure sponsored by the American Diabetes Association. The race is set for May 22nd. His original goal was to raise $500. He’s met that and now we are planning on blowing that out of the water. And here’s where you come in.

We’d like you to consider making a donation to Andy’s team. Any amount will be appreciated. However, we’ve decided to give you a little incentive. For everyone who donates $100 or more, Klose Photography is going to donate a free portrait session. Yep. That’s right. We’ll do a session of you, your family, your dog….whatever. T-Softball 2009

It’s not often that I get the chance to shoot for myself. And when I do it’s usually something creative or artistic. But tonight I did something different. I took my camera to my daughters t-softball game and got some “action” shots. Well, that was in between laughing and cheering. They just have so much fun. Here are a few from tonight:

Winter Activities

We’re still playing catch up with some blog posts from the winter so bear with us! One of the ways that my family likes to pass the time in the winter is playing Pinochle. I’ve never learned to play and really don’t have any desire to but the rest of my family LOVES it. So I decided to get the camera out one night and play around.
