Michelle and Matt - E-session

Sunday was also the day for Matt and Michelle’s engagement session at Fort Hunter. I swear these two don’t take a bad picture!!

I’m in LOVE with this image!! One of my favorite e-session pics of all time.

Thanks guys for spending Sunday morning with us. And a special thanks to my assistant for this session. ;)

Casey and John - E-session

Sunday it was “supposed” to rain. Well thankfully it never did!! Casey and John had chosen Founder’s Hall as the location for their engagement session and we were all worried about the weather. But it ended up being fine…hot actually.

You’ll be seeing more of Casey and John soon. Their wedding is next month.

Allison and Ryan - E-session

A week or so ago, I met up with Allison and Ryan at Messiah College for their engagement session. We had picked another spot but it was too crowded with people enjoying the weather so we ended up at Messiah, and I’m glad we did.

Thanks guys for hanging out with me. And you all might be seeing more of Allison soon…

Danielle and Jason - E-session

This weekend, we had the pleasure of meeting up with Danielle and Jason for their engagement session. We ditched our original plan for a shadier, although slightly buggier, spot. We did work quickly though because it was still hot.

Some favorites from the day…

Holly and Chris - E-session

Last Friday, before it got TOO hot, I traveled to Philly to meet up with Holly and Chris for their engagement session. We FINALLY lucked out with no rain! They chose to have their session done at St. Joe’s because that’s where they met while going to school. I had a great time getting to know them as this was the first time we had met! From all that they told me, I’m looking forward to their wedding in December, when thankfully it will be much cooler.

The ring.

Holly and I kept trying to get Chris to loosen up a little. ;)

There were two girls in bikinis laying in the sun in the background of this shot.

My favorite of the day.

Heather and Cory - E-session

So last Thursday I traveled to Millersville University to meet up with Heather and Cory for their engagement session. Heather was nervous at the beginning but they ended up having a great time. I’m looking forward to their wedding in October.

Oh and Dwight from the Office made a special appearance during the session. Those images are just for Heather and Cory!

And here’s Dwight…

I couldn’t decide which of these I like better so you get both.

Next up are the great images from this past weekend’s events. Stay tuned.

Julie and Nick - E-session

What a beautiful day for an engagement session!! Especially at Pinchot, which is exactly where Julie and Nick wanted to do their engagement session. They had scouted the location (even though they already know it like the back of their hands) and found some cool little spots that I didn’t even know existed. We had an awesome time doing the session and I learned a lot about these two. Especially Nick and microwaves and grits. ;) And a special thanks to Julie’s Mom Donna for going with us and being my “assistant”.

My favorite from the day.

Karen and Conway - E-session

Last Thursday, I traveled to York to meet up with one of my June couples, Karen and Conway, for their engagement session. We met at Central Market and walked around looking for cool little nooks and crannies to shoot in. I also got to know them a little better and am excited to spend their wedding day with them.

PS - I saw the new York Revolution Stadium on my way to meet them and it was really nice. I was impressed with how much of a resurgence that part of town has gone through since the last time I had been there.

Now for the images…

Jessica and Kellan - E-session

On Friday, I met up with Jessica, Kellan and their dog Duncan for their e-session in Harrisburg. We were praying that the rain would hold off and it did. We started on City Island and walked all over downtown. Jessica had a request to have their picture taken by the Neato Burrito sign, which of course we did. I thought it was such a cool idea.

BTW, if you think THESE pictures are fantastic, just wait until their wedding in May. It sounds AMAZING.

This was one of the first shots. Duncan wasn’t quite sure about me or the camera.

The BLING!

I love engagement sessions in the spring.

The Neato Burrito sign.

A tender moment.

I really did have a great time walking around with all of them. And a special thank to Mom Lisa, for tagging along to help with Duncan.

Melissa and Brian - Esession

On Sunday, I met up with Brian and Melissa for their engagement session. Melissa had gotten in touch with me awhile ago based on a referral but unfortunately I was already booked for her wedding. She kept in touch though and as her luck would have it, I had a cancellation for her date. As they say, the rest is history and I’m looking forward to shooting their wedding this September.

So what do you do for an e-session when the weather is less than ideal? Go to the Flower Show at the Farm Show Complex. (We had originally planned for Shipoke but with the flooding we stayed away). We walked around the displays in the show and then decided to brave the weather for some outdoor stuff at Fort Hunter. Of course, those are my favorites because of all the natural light!

Anyhow, enough from me. Here are the images:

I tried putting Melissa’s ring on some of the gorgeous flowers at the show but it was just too heavy! So we came across these awesome landscape lights which were perfect.
