Another cold engagement session! But I did have a great time meeting Mariah and Terrell for the first time and chatting with Mariah’s mom during the session. These two are so insanely cute together.

Yep. Still catching up. And did I mention that I love doing sessions during the winter. Christi and Nick were such sports because it was SO cold the day of their engagement session. We visited a few places that were familiar to me and ended up back at my house, where my kids had just finished sledding. So guess what Christi and Nick did…?

Still catching up from 2009…Meghan and John’s COLD engagement session was right before the big snow that we had mid-December. We had a great time talking and laughing as we walked around Fort Hunter. I’ve said it before but I will say it again. I LOVE doing sessions in the winter. The light is just so nice!

I LOVE winter sessions!! Seriously, they are my absolute fav. I love the browns, greys, and whites the are predominant during the winter months. So I was excited to meet Corinne and Matt near their home in Newville for their engagement session. Things started off well. Really well. Then I twisted my ankle pretty badly and thought I would have to end the session short. But after we took a break and these two made me laugh, I was able to continue. (Thanks guys!!) We went to some spots that were pretty special to them and saw a lot of wildlife on the way.

This is my new favorite image. LOVE IT!!

Ahh the power of Facebook. Isn’t it amazing how we’ve reconnected with all of these people from our past. That’s the case with this couple. I went to high school with Andy a LONG time ago and we reconnected last year on Facebook. He soon introduced me to his wonderful fiancee Lynnie, who just happens to live across the country from him! It took some planning but we were able to do this engagement session while they were both in town visiting Andy’s family for Thanksgiving.

My favorite:

I love “golden hour”. This hour before the sun sets is the most magical time to take pictures. While I’ll do sessions at other times of day, this is by far my favorite. I met up with Jill and Bryan during “golden hour” for their engagement session. This was my first time meeting Bryan so I tried to ease us into the session. By the end, we were having a blast, chatting like we had known each other forever.

Trying a little something different. My eyes had to recover from this one.

This was our last shot of the day. And Bryan was SO happy to be done. So I let him do whatever came natural to him. Apparently that was “strangling” Jill. LOL!!!

We are just rolling along with these engagement sessions!!! And Lacey and Kurt’s happened to be at a great time of day at a great location. I met up with them at Nissley Vineyards and was blown away by the color. They had scouted it out a week earlier and said that there wasn’t much color. Well, when we arrived, it was like we were walking under a yellow umbrella. It was so cool. We walked around a bit, had an outfit change, and some of us even purchased some wine.
All in all, it was a great way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Below are some of my favorites. And these could quite be some of my favorite engagement images ever.
Wow. Just wow.

I have never been to Hollabaugh Brothers Fruit Farm in Biglerville before but I will be returning!!! This is the spot that Amy and Lloyd chose for their engagement session because it had very special meaning to them. (I’ll be returning just for the Nittany apples…LOVE THEM!!) So we spent some time in the rows of apple trees before retreating out of the sun and into the shade of the buildings.

Prime fall color is here!!! And we are in the midst of an insane portrait schedule. So there will be lots of blog posts coming at ya!
First up is Heather and DJ’s engagement session. We decided to meet at Founder’s Hall in Hershey and, wouldn’t you know it, it happened to be the day that they were having some kind of emergency drill on campus. We spent most of the session listening to alarms going off! But we just laughed about it and went on our merry way.
It was great chatting with these two again. Here are a few of my favorites:

These two are so much fun! We joked, talked and laughed our way through our time together. I met up with them recently at Lititz Springs Park for part one of their engagement session. Then we went to a top secret location for the second part. Here are some of my favorites:
