Where did November go? I can’t believe that it’s Thanksgiving already!! But it’s one of our favorite holidays for many reasons: family, the start of the holiday season and, of course, TURKEY!!!!!
The studio will be closed from Nov. 25th through Dec. 4th as we celebrate Thanksgiving and a very special anniversary. 
We will respond to all emails and voicemails when we return to the office. We also have TONS to blog when we come back so stay tuned for that.
This past weekend, we had 15 Holiday Slice of Life sessions in 2 days. I’m still tired. 
No really I had such an awesome time with all of these kiddos! I thought I would share some of the images with you.

I met up with these two on a recent Sunday morning while we still had some beautiful fall color. They hadn’t had pictures done of just the two of them in YEARS! They were so much fun. It was like hanging out with a bunch of teenagers.

What is a SLICE OF LIFE?
It’s:
* your son’s first lost tooth (or maybe his last picture with all of his baby teeth)
* a birthday milestone
* a new pet
* your daughter’s new outfit (and of course the matching one she has for her favorite doll)
* your toddler’s first steps
* your daughter in her cap and gown
Whatever the special moment, our SLICE OF LIFE sessions are the economical way to update your portraits while capturing that particular stage of your life. While nothing can replace the variety and storytelling experience that comes with a full Klose Photography portrait session, we do realize the need to document special moments between full sessions. In essence, document a little slice of YOUR life!
SLICE OF LIFE sessions are done completely in studio and last approximately 20-30 minutes. The session fee is $50. Print packages and products are available for purchase at your preview appointment, which will occur 1-2 weeks after your session. Online ordering for friends and family will be available after your preview appointment.
And as a special kick-off, we are now booking HOLIDAY SLICE OF LIFE Sessions. We initially offered this new opportunity to some of our VIP clients and we are completely booked with sessions this coming weekend. Stay tuned next week for blog posts!
And just a little preview from one of my own.
Introducing Athan James, my new little friend. From his hair to his toes, everything about Athan is perfection. He had so many people praying for him during his first couple days as he had to have heart surgery when he was born. But God answered them all and he is fine! I went to visit him and his brothers this past weekend and will be seeing them all again this weekend for their holiday session. Can’t wait!!
This was his pose when I first got there. Notice where his hand are. And his two brothers happened to be in the same room. I call this “Hear No Evil”.
