Christina’s Senior Session Extravaganza

That’s exactly how I had Christina’s session marked on our calendar. I knew that we were going to have a good time! You might remember Christina from her Rock the Dress session and remember how gorgeous she is. Christina and her mom arrived at the studio with lots of clothing options and a suitcase. Yes, a suitcase. :) But I was excited that we had so many options to choose from. We spent awhile in the studio doing some more formal shots as well as some sports shots, then we went out and about for more. And of course, we timed it so we were out at the absolute best time of day for pictures. Christina’s session lasted 3+ hours and I’m not complaining at all. I could shoot her every day.

Now for all of the images. This is going to be a long one because I wanted to show what an extended session will get you. I also wanted to show that unlike some places where you only get a handful of choices, we give you TONS!

First we started in the studio:

Cheer time!

This is at the new blue wall at Lower Dauphin. I thought it would be a great backdrop.

When you do a session with us, you are going to get some images that are a little different than the norm. This is my favorite of the day only because it had been in my head since I spotted this location. :)

I had so much fun with this session. Christina made it seem like I wasn’t working at all. Thank you Christina and Mom for spending the evening with me.

Monica and Scott – 07.11.09

We had been looking forward to Saturday for awhile! Andy and I traveled to Lewisburg for the wedding of Monica and Scott. I had met Monica and Scott last year for their engagement session and quickly realized that they were going to be one of my favorite couples ever! They were so much fun during their esession that I knew they wouldn’t let me down for their wedding. We started at Rooke Chapel on the campus of Bucknell University. Both Monica and Scott are alumni so getting married on campus was very meaningful for them. After the ceremony we spent some time walking around with Monica and Scott exploring the chapel and campus a bit. Then it was off to downtown Lewisburg to the Lewisburg Hotel for the reception. Before we went in though, we walked around a bit there too and had fun. Then it was inside for the reception and BOY did they know how to party!!!!! The dance floor was packed all night. Andy and I were even caught singing along at times. It was so easy to get wrapped up in the fun because that’s just the kind of couple Monica and Scott are.

Thanks guys for a great party. Andy and I are extremely blessed to know you and count you as friends. :)

Now for my favorites! CLICK HERE for the slideshow. And yes, Monica and Scott did their first dance to Sweet Caroline. It was awesome!

Monica was just stunning!

We could have shot all day in this stairwell. It was like shooting in a big softbox.

Johni and Steve – 07.10.09

This past Friday, Lindsey and I got to go to one of our favorite venues, The Civic Club of Harrisburg, for the wedding and reception of Johni and Steve. And when we arrived, we were floored by all of the details. Johni had thought of everything and it was all pulled together so nicely. There were fans for guests. Takeout boxes and a candy bar. A wedding cake and 5 additional cakes. Two dresses and two pairs of shoes. And flowers everywhere. I cannot say enough good things about Dan from Blue Heron It was just beautiful. We had a great time, even with some rambunctious groomsmen ;) . Thanks to Johni and Steve and their families for having us.

Below are some favorites. CLICK HERE for their slideshow.

Austin – Senior Session

This week Austin came by the studio for his senior session. Then I convinced him to go to our nearby park for some “fun” ones. ;)
