Brittany and Craig – 05.25.09

Whew! We are still catching up from last weekend’s weddings and now we have a couple more to post from this past weekend. Last but not least from our triple header was the wedding of Brittany and Craig on Memorial Day. And what a beautiful place it was to get married at Riverdale Manor. Brittany and Craig are both in the service and it was very nice to see some of their guests wearing their uniforms. And how appropriate!

Amy and Brian – 05.24.09

Our second wedding of last weekend was the wedding of Amy and Brian at Lauxmont Farms in the Rotunda area. We arrived to cover getting ready with the girls at the Rotunda and the boys at Amy and Brian’s home in Wrightsville. Amy told me she wanted a “casual elegant” wedding with lots of details and that’s what she got! The girls wore simple navy dresses and the boys wore khaki suits. The flowers were a PERFECT match to the theme. The ceremony was beyond beautiful on the hill overlooking the river and the horses. It really is one of the scenic ceremony sites in Central PA. After the ceremony, we hung out with the bridal party doing some fun shots and then it was time for the reception to begin. It was one of those late afternoons where it was hard to keep people inside so we wondered inside and out, capturing it all.

We had CUTE kids all weekend!!

Kristie and Steven – 05.23.09

Saturday was the first day of the first ever Klose Photography triple header. Yes, that’s right. We had a wedding on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. And it was exhausting. But we had such a great time with each of our couples and each wedding was special in its own way.

So first up in the wedding of Kristie and Steven on Saturday. The day started off well enough until I showed up at Kristie’s parent’s house for getting ready with the girls. Poor Kristie had been sick since Tuesday and was still running a fever. And if you remember Saturday it was really humid which made it almost unbearable for her. We finished getting ready there and headed over to the Hershey Gardens where the ceremony was to be held. The plan was to do portraits of the guys and girls respectively before the ceremony. We tried to move quickly through those because it was REALLY hot by then. Kristie was trying to save all of the energy she had left for the ceremony so she stayed inside the Education Center until the last moment. She was such a trooper though because she made it through the ceremony AND portrait time with flying colors. Then it was off to the Hershey Country Club for the cocktail hour and reception. Kristie actually felt a little better there so we did some more portraits before settling in for dinner (which unfortunately our lovely bride couldn’t eat). The day was very emotional and there were moments that moved even those behind the camera. ;)

Without further ado, here are some of our favorites. CLICK HERE for their slideshow.

Johni and Steve – Esession

We’re a little behind on blogging. OK. Maybe a LOT behind on blogging for us. So stay tuned for lots of posts coming at you this week. First of is the engagement session of Johni and Steve. I met this two recently at the Hotel Hershey for their session. We worked some inside then went outside where the sky was just AMAZING! I’m looking forward to their quickly approaching wedding.

I loved Johni’s shoes. She told me that if I loved these, then I’ll love her wedding shoes. I can’t wait!

Erin and Matt – 05.16.09

Last Saturday, Lindsey and I headed to the Milestone Inn for the ceremony and reception of Erin and Matt. And we kept an eye on the radar all day. ;) The ceremony was set for 4pm and we all had a play it by ear attitude towards whether the ceremony would be outside or under the tent. First things first though. Erin was a gorgeous, vintage-looking bride. She was so calm when we arrived. She and Matt agreed to see each other before the ceremony. Lindsey and I orchestrated their “first glance” in their room at the Inn. Then we headed outside for all of the portraits. After a brief lull, it was time for the ceremony to start. AND THE RAIN HELD OFF!! Yeah! It actually held off through cocktail hour and didn’t start until the reception (under the tent) was well under way. And let me tell you…Erin and Matt’s guests did not let a downpour stop them from partying!

Rock the Dress – Christina

This afternoon, we spent a couple of hours with Christina for her Rock the Dress session. We had an AWESOME time and the light was so nice. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Christina is beautiful both inside and out! We got so many amazing images that it was hard to just pick a few.

Kim and Dan – Esession

On Mother’s Day Sunday, we hung out with Kim and Dan for awhile on some properties that Dan’s family owns. And what AMAZING properties they were!

We started on Kim and Dan’s property and visited with their cats. ;)

Sarah and John – 05.03.09

Our streak is officially broken. We had this awesome streak going for quite awhile where none of our outdoor weddings had rain. But again we woke up on Sunday morning to a downpour. And the wedding of Sarah and John was scheduled for the beautiful grounds of the Cameron Estate Inn. When we arrived at the Inn to meet Sarah for some getting ready shots, she was in surprisingly good spirits. The day had not only started off rainy for her but there was also an accident by the Inn that had caused a power outage. So their getting ready location had to be changed to a different spot. No worries for Sarah though. She just rolled with it! After hanging with both the guys and girls for awhile it was time to move over to the Carriage House where the ceremony was now going to be held. Luckily Sarah WAS just rolling with the punches because she had yet another surprise coming her way when the best man had a medical issue and the paramedics were called…right in the middle of the ceremony. But Sarah and John were AWESOME and got through the ceremony after a short delay. We used the momentary break in the rain to take shots around the property then it was back to the Carriage House for the rest of the reception.

A BIG thank you go Sarah and John for making your day so memorable!
