We’re back.

What a great way to end a vacation at the lake.

We’re back in the office tomorrow, wading through all of the emails and voicemails we’ve received. And we have lots of new stuff for the blog so stay tuned for that.

Shoot for Yourself Day #1 – Lindsey

Lindsey and I recently took the day off to shoot for ourselves. Since the office is closed this week, I thought that I would share some of our images with you.

Here are 3 of Lindsey’s favorites from her travels around Philly.

Ashley and Tom – 07.05.08

Saturday was an early day for Lindsey and I. The ceremony of Ashley and Tom was at 11am so we were up and at ‘em earlier than usual. We met up with everyone at St. Catherine’s for any pre-ceremony shots we could get out of the way before it was time for the big event. Ashley was stunning in her dress and even though she got ready in a not so stunning room, we were able to get some nice shots. After formals at the church, we headed north to the Country Club of Harrisburg where the reception was to be held. Tom was gracious enough to drive us around in a golf cart as we scouted out places for pictures. Cruise Control had the dance floor packed and it stayed that way all afternoon.

Ashley’s bouquet was the centerpiece of the day.

We found a little spot of natural light.

The flower girl was THE CALMEST flower girl I had ever seen.

We do love kids at weddings.

The stained glass at St. Catherine’s in AMAZING.

A moment during the ceremony.

The happy couple.

The girls’ bouquets.

The boys.

Some time alone with Ashley and Tom.

This capture just makes me laugh.

Guests moving upstairs into the ballroom.

The cake. The design of the stacked presents paid tribute to the fact that Ashley and Tom got engaged at Christmas.

First dance.

Choreographed father daughter dance (with the addition of Ashley’s brothers).

The rings.

This little girl was so cute.

Ashley’s parents.

Erin Cruise and Cruise Control.

Some dance floor fun.

Thanks Ashley and Tom for allowing us to capture your special day.

Ceremony: St. Catherine Laboure

Kade – 6 months

For our monthly visit with Kade, we went with the Patriotic theme mixed with a little kittie loving. Kade’s parents rescued THE MOST ADORABLE little kittens, names Blanco and Shadow. Shadow LOVES Kade, even crawling up on his lap during our session. Oh and Kade has 2 teeth! He’s getting so big.

This is Shadow. I so wanted to take him home!

And Blanco, who has a little bit more of an attitude than Shadow.

DISCLAIMER: No kittens were harmed in the making of this photograph. Apparently, Shadow lets Kade do ANYTHING to him and he just doesn’t care.

Our little man…

TEETH!!

Like I said, we got a little Patriotic.

Then back inside for a couple more shots.

Happy 4th of July!!!!

And what better way to celebrate Independence Day than with this little firecracker. ;)

More to come from Kade’s 6 month session next week. For now, ENJOY the weekend!

Harley Davidson

I did some recent commercial work for Susquehanna Harley Davidson. They are raffling off this BEAUTIFUL motorcyle to benefit Autism. Here are some detail shots. Contact SVHD for more info on the raffle.
