Kade - 3 months

Baby Kade came to visit today me today for a change of pace. I got to shoot in my meeting space/studio which is bathed in natural light. He continues to be such a good baby.

This is a total Klose Photography image. I just love it.

Melissa and Brian - Esession

On Sunday, I met up with Brian and Melissa for their engagement session. Melissa had gotten in touch with me awhile ago based on a referral but unfortunately I was already booked for her wedding. She kept in touch though and as her luck would have it, I had a cancellation for her date. As they say, the rest is history and I’m looking forward to shooting their wedding this September.

So what do you do for an e-session when the weather is less than ideal? Go to the Flower Show at the Farm Show Complex. (We had originally planned for Shipoke but with the flooding we stayed away). We walked around the displays in the show and then decided to brave the weather for some outdoor stuff at Fort Hunter. Of course, those are my favorites because of all the natural light!

Anyhow, enough from me. Here are the images:

I tried putting Melissa’s ring on some of the gorgeous flowers at the show but it was just too heavy! So we came across these awesome landscape lights which were perfect.

Thanks guys for braving the cold!!!

Mary and Josh - E-session

On a recent cold, wintry morning, I met Mary and Josh at Negley Park for their engagement session. I love it when we can return to the site of the actual engagement. It makes the session so much more special. We did work quickly because it was SO windy up on the hill and poor Mary’s eyes kept watering. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that their wedding in a few weeks is MUCH warmer!

Judges Comments: “This is a very complete picture, the photographer watched the edges to add the important information of the people on the left.”

A very special thanks to April and Todd for allowing me to be part of the New Year’s Eve wedding, where this was captured.

WHAT AN AWESOME CONTEST!!
