Ashley and Blake – E-session

The second portrait session on Sunday was also at Fort Hunter. Ashley and Blake chose that location to try and capture some of the remaining fall colors, which I’m happy to report we did. They also brought along their dog Emma for some shots right at the end.

Steve, Karen and Evan

OK – I’m blogging a bit out of order but it’s just how the cookie is crumbling today. Check back tomorrow for my wedding from Saturday.

Sunday dawned quite chilly but I still met up with Steve, Karen and Evan for their family session at Fort Hunter. We were all a little cold but we kept moving and they were troopers, especially Evan. Karen and I were chatting about how there were still so many leaves on all of the trees and how pretty they were.

This is one of the first shots of the day and I just love it.

Evan. He was so awesome. His mom said that he screams every time he goes into a studio. I love being able to capture this smile for them.

Thanks Steve and Karen! It was great seeing you guys again. And it was such a pleasure meeting Evan.

Ashley and Jim – 10.20.07

A few weeks ago, I traveled to Gettysburg for the wedding of Ashley and Jim. The ceremony was held at the Lutheran Seminary and the reception was held at The Links. This wedding had lots of bling and so many details. I’ll let the images speak for themselves.

Aiden

Aiden’s Mom and I have been playing phone tag for quite some time and we finally we able to schedule his session this week. I traveled to meet them at Coleman Memorial Park in Lebanon, which is gorgeous in the fall.

My favorite of the day:

After he warmed up, he was ALL SMILES!

Amanda and Philip – E-session

My second session on Sunday was with Amanda and Philip, one of my couples for next year. We met at City Island in Harrisburg. I couldn’t believe that they had never been there before. We had a great time chatting as we walked around the island. I’ve been promised a great party at their reception next year and I’m going to hold them to it. ;)

David, Danielle, Gavin, Jack and Abby

On Sunday, I got to spend some time with a couple of my favorite newlyweds and their kids. Danielle and David are two of my favorite people on earth. You might remember their wedding from the blog in September. Anyhow, Danielle LOVES pictures and wanted some shots of her boys as well as a family shot. Even Abby, their dog, made an appearance. Their property is amazing and was the setting for all of our images.

When I first got there, Gavin was so excited to tell me about the Transformer movie:

They had to wake Jack up for pictures. I think he was less than thrilled.

It was a little chilly when we ventured outside, but Mom was there to keep Jack warm.

I swear Gavin could be a model for Gap Kids.

Gavin wanted to show me his swing in the backyard.
