HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Well today is Halloween but we live in one of those parts of the country where all of our events (parades, trick-or-treating, school parties) happened last week. So today kind of seems anti-climactic. Irregardless, it is Halloween and in honor of that I’m sharing a recent image from Hayden’s 9 month session which had a Halloween theme.

Melinda and Chris - 10.27.07

When I woke up Saturday and saw that it was rainy and foggy, I was worried about what kind of images I was going to be able to get for Melinda and Chris’ wedding. But first we had to make the trip to Mahanoy City for the ceremony and then to Hazleton for the reception. The drive up the mountains was very foggy but thank goodness we arrived safely. After hanging with the girls and gals at the hotel for getting ready shots, we all headed to the church for the ceremony. This was my second Byzantine Catholic ceremony and I just love them. Amazingly enough, the skies cleared about halfway through the ceremony because I saw the sun streaming through the stained glass windows. After formals at the church, we headed to the reception at Valley Country Club. Melinda had warned me that we wouldn’t be allowed on the actual golf course so I had to look for an alternate location. I think I found one that was even better than the course and Melinda was a trooper and hiked up her dress to get there. The reception had some touches of Halloween since the date was so close. I have not had this much fun at a reception in a very long time. It makes me want to do a Halloween wedding next year!!

Anyhow, now for the images:

This is Chris’ sister Annette, who I have to say was the life of the party. See those horns on the top of her head? I’ll give you one guess where they ended up at the end of the night. ;)

Andy and I had such a fantastic time with you all!! Thank you for being so warm and welcoming and most of all FUN!!!

Kelli and Mike - E-session

My second session in Annapolis was with Kelli and Mike. They live in Annapolis but are getting married in Central PA next year. We spent their session walking around the US Naval Academy. Mike was NOT AT ALL in to having his picture taken but I think by the end of the session he was actually having fun!!! Thanks guys!!!

Alicia and Arne - E-session

On Sunday, I traveled to Annapolis for two engagement sessions. The first was with Alicia and Arne. Going to Annapolis was a last minute change for us but I think it was for the best! We had great weather and these two were so much fun to hang out with.

This was our first spot of the day. I just loved the colors in this mural.

Alicia had seen an image on my blog of an engagement ring on a pumpkin so she brought along a little pumpkin for me to use with her ring. After I took that image and while they were changing, I used some of the Halloween decor in Phillips for this shot. I LOVE IT!!!

Michele and Joseph - 10.20.07

Sorry for the delay in getting these images up. Last Saturday, Anne had the pleasure of capturing the outdoor wedding of Michele and Joseph at Berry Patch Bed and Breakfast in Lebanon. They had a gorgeous day!!

we did have 2 weddings this Saturday and the posts for those are coming. Be patient! ;)

Lauren and Shaun - E-session

The second engagement session on Sunday was with Lauren and Shaun. I met them at Nissley Vineyards and what a gorgeous afternoon (although a little warm) to walk around the grounds. I loved that I didn’t have to tell them to interact at all. They were just having a good time being with each other!

Thanks guys. I hope you enjoyed your wine!

Kristen and Gerald - E-session

Sunday was a day of sessions and consultations for me. The first engagement session of the day was with Kristen and Gerald. I met up with them at the Civic Club where they are getting married next year. They wanted some pictures around there since the area will be filled with people on their wedding day. We finished up there and walked around downtown for a bit in the unusually warm October weather.

Thanks guys. I hope you enjoyed the game!

The “J” Family

I love it when I get referrals and that’s exactly how I got to photograph this wonderful family.

Cameron - 3 years old and determined to be good enough to get his M&M’s at the end of the session

Kiera - 3 months old and could have cared less about the M&Ms
