This is the last call for the October 14th Boudoir Event at the Milestone Inn in Harrisburg. We have a couple of spots left and would love to have the entire day filled. If you are interested or need more information, please call or email the office.

Danielle and David - 09.22.07

Where do I begin? I had been looking forward to Saturday’s wedding for many reasons. #1: It was at the Peter Allen House in Dauphin. #2: Danielle and David are a fantastically fun couple. Andy and I had a great time with them during their e-session at Longwood Gardens. We still talk about that day!! Anyhow, the day started with Lauren and I heading to Salon Dechene in Hershey to meet the girls. After hanging out with them for their up-dos, we walked down the street to Merle Norman Cosmetics where Danielle had her make-up done. From there, it was off to the Peter Allen House for some finishing touches on the details for the ceremony and reception.

Now for the pictures. I had so many favorites!!

The dress…a STUNNING dress from Diva Rees.

The necklace, tiara, and veil were all from Diva Rees. The earrings were a gift from David.

Danielle’s details were amazing.

Danielle and David’s signature drink…the apple martini.

The food by JDK Catering was delicious. Danielle and David decided to forego the traditional wedding cake in favor of an incredible array of pastries. I actually ate this one after I took this picture. It was sinful.

The was one of the flower girls, who got ahold of a camera during the reception. Check out where her fingers are. ;)

The party was still going when we left…

Thanks guys for letting us be part of your day.

Rachel and Daniel - 09.22.07

Whew! September is almost over. On Saturday, we had another double header with Anne and Andy heading to Lebanon for the wedding of Rachel and Dan. Anne and I had such a great time with these two during their e-session that I knew that their wedding wouldn’t be any different.

Rachel’s bouquet was awesome. The black magic roses were just beautiful!!

Stephanie and Eric - E-session

On Thursday evening, I had plans to meet Stephanie and Eric at City Island for their engagement session. They had picked the location and were very excited about shooting on the island. I was expecting to find the island relatively empty. It was a Thursday evening after all. Much to my surprise, I arrive at the island to a slew of people, a marching band, and TONS of red balloons. Apparently, we chose the night that the Light the Night Walk for Leukemia was being held on City Island!! If you knew what we went through to actually schedule this e-session AND if you knew how devoted Stephanie and Eric are to walking for diabetes, you would find this all very funny. We certainly did!! After reviewing our options, we decided to walk across the Walnut Street bridge to Riverfront Park and down into Shipoke. I think we are still planning on doing a mini session on City Island but next time we will make sure to check their calendar!

Here are the pictures from our session:

Maggi and Tom - 09.15.07

Our other wedding on Saturday was with Maggi and Tom. All of their events were held at the beautiful Civic Club in Harrisburg. Although it was a little windy, the weather was nice for their outdoor ceremony. Maggi and Tom saw each other before the ceremony so Anne and her assistant had a ton of time for pictures and I have to say that they got some GREAT stuff. Thanks Maggi and Tom for including us on your big day. We hope you enjoyed Costa Rica.

Maggi was stunning…

This week, I had the pleasure of doing Brittany’s senior session. She is a senior at Central Dauphin High School. Here is our session in pictures:

Jessica and Ben - E-session

I’m a little out of order posting this session. I promise to get to our other wedding this past weekend today. So stay tuned for that.

On Sunday, I met up with Jessica and Ben for their engagement session at Nissley Vineyards in Bainbridge. My husband and I are frequent visitors to Nissley in the summer for their lawn concerts so I was very excited to actually do a session there. And little did I know that Jessica and Ben love red wine, so it was appropriate for them as well. Jessica and Ben are one of my out of state couples (from Tennessee) and were in the area for a friend’s wedding. Jessica had told me that they were bringing their dog along with them and I really didn’t know what to expect. But when I got out of the car and was greeted by little Miss Morgan, I fell in love. I seriously wanted to bring her home with me. She made for some funny moments too during the session, as you will see below.

The sky was breathtakingly blue on Sunday.

Betsy and Grant - 09.15.07

On Saturday, I spent the day with Betsy and Grant for their long awaited wedding. You might remember them as the couple that I met in Cape May for their engagement session. While it’s been awhile since I’ve seen them, they certainly haven’t lost any of their spark. We started off at the First Presbyterian Church in Strasburg for getting ready with the girls. The ceremony was at the same location then it was off to Riverdale for the reception. This was my first time at Riverdale and it certainly lived up to its hype. It was gorgeous and the food was excellent. But enough about the details. Let’s see the day in pictures.

The dress was stunning. It was the first Priscilla of Boston dress that I’ve seen in person. And Betsy looked like Audrey Hepburn in it…a classic beauty.

Thanks guys for a great day. Have a fantastic time in Antigua, however you pronounce it. ;)

Booking Early

In the past few weeks, I’ve had a lot of people who are calling to book their weddings with us and are disappointed that we are already booked. The best advice I can give you is to book early. We are generally booking 12-18 months in advance for weddings. We do not base our bookings on the calendar year for pricelists. So when you book, you lock in at that current pricelist which could provide you some substantial savings.

Of course, I’ve also gotten a few calls from people who were basing their date on our availability. I love that!! ;)

Christine - Senior Session

I met up with Christine and her mom earlier this week for her senior session. Thank goodness we had planned for a mostly indoor location because it was raining. But Christine did brave the elements with me and it was my favorite shot of the day. But you’ll see that below. Christine is a senior at Central Dauphin.
